I’ve been reading more and more from Lolita, and about it and I don’t get the obsession with it (beside the lovely, beautiful prose). I don’t get all the pictures I see on tumblr of the movie and everything that presents it as 1) a love story turned tragic or 2) a story of a damaged, lonely man…

I couldn’t finish it either. I thought it was beautifully written, but I couldn’t get past the content of it.
